A Dwarf Fortress planning tool created with the canvas element. Tiles can be placed from a variety of graphical tilesets, and coloured to match objects in-game. Supports server side saving with a sharable URL, as well as exporting to .PNG.
I spotted Minedraft while working on Dwarf Canvas, and thought it looked a hell of a lot better. Thus, Dwarf Canvas could not end with version one.
Version two uses a new graphics set, has premade backgrounds from in-game embark locations, and uses a larger drawing area. Let me know if you end up using this! (You can still access version one here)
Duradition, "Beardhall". The Helm of Laws have dug deep into the landscape, moving earth, rock, water and even magma to suit their needs.
The "epic" tale of Ablelsat, "Buststroked", a mountain fortress. A rocky succession game between several people, ending in tragedy. With screenshots.
Tamolurdim Kodor, "Saviortowers of Dawn". Established by The Knives of Esteem, and now mountain home of The Dreamy Hatchet. The fortress rules over a conquered land; Kobolds, Goblins, and even Demons have felt the boot of this great dwarven civilization
My own clone of the classic 'Tanks' or 'Scorched Earth' game, done with javascript and the canvas element.
I was unhappy with the charts and stats displayed on the popular BC2 stats sites, and with the discovery of a public API offered by bfbcs.com, I created my own system for the group of people I play with.
Key useful features include an improved 'Progress' page showing the next ranks, unlocks and stars, and the 'Session' page, highlighting changes to your score since the last stat update (max every 24h - so basically an update for every evening of play)
A collection of charts examining player statistics gathered from user Steam Community pages. Compares values for things like 'Friendly Fire' and 'Kills per Hour'. Why? Well, (a) Graphs are awesome, and more importantly (b) I had the spare time.
Ultimately, the concept was flawed. Valve/Steam displays the game statistics as averages, which would have resulted in a pretty boring graph given enough time. Created using PHP/SWF Charts (requires flash).
A Warhammer Online Experience. The guild website for "Your Mother", and a play on the game's "Tome of Knowledge" which keeps track of your progress. Features character bios, photos and stats (scraped every so often from Warhammer's RealmWAR site).
Users are able to upload a cropped character portrait, and thanks to the wonders of phpgd, have it rotated and composited into a poloroid style border. An infusion of AJAX allows for easy to update character info.
After noticing the Games Workshop boxed set of Lord of the Rings miniatures in 2001, it's been on again off again hobby. Painting them, that is. I've never really bothered to play any of the associated games (Warhammer, 40k..) I follow one simple rule: Does it look fun to paint? Yes: Purchase. There's no army list to follow or genre to abide by. It's a great - although somewhat expensive - escape from all my other digital, uh, escapes.
